Eccles Health Campus in West Valley

Rooted in Community. Growing Opportunity.

The University of Utah Eccles Health Campus & Eccles Hospital in West Valley is more than a hospital—it’s a promise to the community. Born from deep collaboration with West Valley residents and leaders, this campus is designed to reflect the expertise of the University and the strength and resilience of one of Utah’s most vibrant cities.

We’re expanding care close to home, opening doors to health care careers, and investing in the future of the community.

We envision a healthy West Valley where residents and the University of Utah learn, grow, and thrive together.

Your support helps turn this promise into reality.

EDUCATION + CAREERS: YOUR PATH STARTS HERE

The new campus will create 1,200 new jobs in health and supporting services. We believe that the future of health care is already here—in the students, families, and workers of West Valley. That’s why the campus will also be a hub for learning, training, and workforce development, with:

  • Career pathway programs for high school and college students
  • Connection to certificate and degree programs in medicine, nursing, social work, and allied health fields
  • Hands-on training in clinical settings
  • Support services, mentorship, scholarships
